This place is awesome! They saved the day on our first day at the beach. We were at Wrightsville Beach on Labor Day... weekend. Our hotel ran out of umbrellas and we called Cape Fear Beach Rentals. Within 30 minutes they were on the beach with umbrellas! They were super friendly and so helpful. We ordered umbrellas and chairs for the next day online and received a text that morning that said our umbrella was set up with our name on it before 9 am! So impressed! Highly recommend them!!read more

We rented with Cape Fear Beach Rentals twice this past holiday week. I wasn’t sure of our plans until last minute and... they made it extremely easy and were very accommodating even though they were super busy. Everything we rented (10x10, resort style chairs and umbrella) were in excellent condition and they were on time as promised. Came to stay at the Surf Suites -July 2016-and they don't have a chair service here at the hotel. The front desk guy... Josh recommended Ben to us and what a great service we got. Brand new chairs and umbrellas for our party of four and the best thing of all is they set them up on the beach for us and then came at the end of the day and picked them up! And they were here within an hour of calling and that was on a busy weekend. Having an umbrella or canopy set up and taken down for... us each day made our stay at Wrightsville Beach unbelievably more relaxed than we even had hoped it would. On the last day we were there, I glanced up at 5:50 to see Theo. I was already out from under the shade because it was late in the day, and I told him to go ahead and take the canopy. He said, "Are you sure? You can have 10 more minutes!" That's how nice they were-he would have waited those 10 minutes, and would have done it with a smile! Did the umbrellas and chairs for one week. I've seen this done on other beaches we've been to. With two children under... 5 years old, I didn't want to worry about lugging chairs and umbrellas back and forth from our beach house. Ben and Theo were great with communication, especially when I had to switch our housing and access point at the start of our trip. Everything was set up on time everyday, which helped relieve a bit of the stress. The chairs and umbrellas were the good canvas kind, and did the trick. Would definitely use their services again if I'm in the area and would highly recommend it. The price is slightly higher than at other beaches, but you pay for good quality furniture and the convenience of not hauling your stuff down and setting up everyday. For me, it was worth every penny.read more

My husband and I used Cape Fear Beach Rental for our annual day trip to Wrightsville Beach, NC. I thought of the idea... of renting beach chairs and an umbrella because my husband and I do not go to the beach often and needed something quick without having to go out and buy an expensive umbrella and chairs and not use them again until next year. I contacted Cape Fear Beach Rental via phone and then followed up via email through their website and was contacted back the same day by a very nice man named Ben. Ben explained the process of renting the umbrella and chairs and was very responsive to messages during the days leading up to the day trip. The thing I love most about their service was not having to go pick up the equipment, carry it to the beach, and set it up ourselves. It was already done for us. We just told Ben which access point entry to set up, and the umbrella and chairs were set up when we got there! Ben also managed to save us his parking spot! The only thing that I wish was that our chairs had cup holders, but other than that, the rental was very affordable and the customer service was great! I would definitely recommend this service to my family and friends!!read more

Wow! Love this option for renting chairs/umbrella on wrighstville beach. I called lateon Saturday and Ben was so... accommodating. He had good recommendations and the spot he set up for us was great. He even provided help getting a parking spot-which is really terrific since it can be such a pain there. Service was fantastic through and through.
